Fernie Alpine Resort wins the best ski resort in North America from World Snow Awards beating out other destination ski resorts like Whistler, Banff, Vail, Mammoth, Squaw Valley, Aspen, Telluride and many others.

This award is absolutely huge! Why? check out the incredible list of judges- there has not been a more respected, industry leading panel of ski journalist, industry executives, ski professionals, media and tour operator’s ever assembled.   1. We attended the awards which were held as part of the London Ski Show. Great evening at really proud to see Fernie win out over this competition, coming back for our 12th season visit to Fernie.

  2. I’m going to Fernie for a week in January — after going to Whistler for many years we decided to make this a year we visit the interior. Looking forward to it!
