With over 90cm this week and still snowing today, Fernie Alpine Resort has officially passed 25 feet of snow and well on its way of busting the average snowfall of 29 feet with over a month of the season still remaining. Each day I have been having friends send me notes from their Apple, Blackberry with images attached- caption saying 'Best day ever….', 'you should be here' 'just did the Currie 500…. and the claims keep coming in as each day passed this week. Powder Matt wishes he was there…this has been an incredible storm cycle resulting in Fernie Factor in overdrive. Kudos to our Operations Crew as they are busting their tails, grooming immense amount of terrain each night, and patrol working hard to be able to get open lifts as early as possible once they have done all of the control work that is needed, and the maintenance team for taking great care of the lifts and machinery. We are very proud of the lift attendants, ticket checkers, car park crew, Food team, and the Guest Service and Ticketing. Thank you! Enjoy the Griz Week of Fun and Powder!
