Thanks to Global TV Calgary for giving the opportunity to share the outdoors! Today’s segment is on Top 5 places to go for a great Fall hike in and around the Canadian Rockies. Key for me is the importance for adults of Play! No better place than to Play outside than having the Canadian Rockies as your backyard. So check out the perfect place for the following in this episode
Perfect picnic spots in the Canadian Rockies
Peaks to Delight
Great Hiking getawawy…try Kimberley, BC, a good place to be. This little town in British Columbia rocks. Way cool ‘chill vibe’ prevails here. Incredible nature out your front door where hiking and biking trails abound. Less crowded than other mountain town. I think you need to check this place out.
Glorious Golden Trees…Larch time in the Canadian Rockies is so amazing. What is it? Well the Larch tree is the only pine tree where the needles turn a bright orange and fall off. It happens once a year and now is the time to view the glory.
A little secret National Park. Have you been to Waterton Lakes National Park? Well like most you have not. It is way less busy than Banff National Park or Jasper National Park and packed with amazing things to do and see. Incredible hikes like Carthew Alderson, Crypt Lake and a short one with a super view the Bears Hump.
Thanks so much for making my Global TV segment possible- Amber, Scott, Jayme and Marina! You Rock! Enjoy natures goodness and get outside to play today!
