Fernie Alpine Resort, in Western Canada, hosts our favorite creature of all: the Griz. Legend has it that in 1967 a baby was born and abandoned in a bear cave. The following day the baby engaged in an epic struggle with a Grizzly bear and soon after was seen prancing among rocks wearing a bearskin. Today, an adult specter haunts the peaks, still in Grizzly furs and wielding a musket (the reason the baby won the fight, we guess). When he fires it into the sky, snow will come. Needless to say, skiers shout a quick thanks to the Griz whenever the blessed powder arrives.

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
