49 years and still skiing in Fernie, British Columbia, Canada. Skiing has a long tradition in Fernie, British Columbia. Many locals were involved in setting up the Fernie Snow Valley Ski Ltd. Names from the community of Fernie such as Edward Telfer Dicks, Donald Bacon, John Crabb, William R. Prentice, Henry Nelson, George W. Leroux, Malcolm Gordon, Fredrick C. Hislop, and James E.
