The local ski shops have their Barn Burner, Blowout sales where lots of times you can get great gear for 50% off or you can check out when your local Ski Club is hosting it's Ski Swap. Here in Calgary there is a new Ski Swap this weekend that is bringing in ski gear from the Ski Clubs of Panorama Mountain Village and Nakiska Ski Resort with the gear from the families involved in Fernie Alpine Ski Team. SO don't miss it as the event starts at 8:30am and is at the South Calgary Community Centre, 3130 – 16th Street SW. Note that all of the ski towns in the Canadian Rockies have their own Ski Swaps so check in with your Ski Club, Ski Patrol and or Ski Resort in Canmore, GOlden, Kimberley and Invermere to get in on the great savings on ski gear.
